2 Scoops of Isolated/ Concentrate Protein Chocolate Flavor

1 ½ cups full fat yogurt

2 table spoons Natural Chunky Peanut Butter

1 scoop chocolate ice cream (optional)

1 tablespoon Flax Oil

1 Cup Blue Berries

2 Medium Bananas

1 Cup Almond Milk

1 tablespoon of Greens (this is a greens supplement, that replaces veggies and fruits)

Nutritional Breakdown;

Approximation; Calories: 930

Protein: 70 g | Carbs: 50 g | Fat: 50 g

Consuming Calories;

An additional 3,500 calories a week on top of what you eat can help you gain that extra weight you have been looking for. If you consume this shake everyday you can expect to gain approximately 1.8 pounds a week. This is based on taking a 7 day week and multiplying it by the calories of the Super Shake which is 930 cals. Then you divide that number with 3,500 cals because this is the number of calories in a pound.

7 days * 930 calories = 6510 calories. If you consume the shake each and everyday you are consuming an extra 6510 calories on top of what you already eat. What this means to you is that if you stay consistent and consume one a day you will have the potential to gain up to 1.8 pounds a week. How did I get that number you ask? Well with a simple calculation. We know that 3,500 calories equals a pound, and we are consuming an additional 6510 calories a week (7day week)

6510 Calories / 3,500 Calories = 1.86 pounds. This is the number you could expect to gain if you consume an extra 930 calories a day.

Let’s imagine that you are overweight and you would like to lose several excess pounds. To lose 1 pound of fat, what you have to do is burn off …3,500 calories. That is, over a period of time, you have to consume 3,500 calories less than your body needs. There are several ways you can create that deficit. If you assume that you weigh 150 pounds and that your body at rest needs 1,800 calories per day (150 * 12 = 1,800) to live, here are several examples (some realistic, some not):

You could lie in bed and starve yourself. Since you are lying in bed, you are consuming 1,800 calories per day. Since you are starving yourself, you are taking in no calories. That means that, every day, you create a deficit of 1,800 calories and, approximately every two days, you will lose 1 pound of body weight.

You could consume fewer calories than your body needs. For example, you might choose to consume 1,500 calories per day rather than the required 1,800 by controlling what you eat. That creates a 300-calorie deficit every day. That means that approximately every 12 days, you will lose 1 pound of weight (12 days x 300 calories = 3,600 calories).

You could consume 1,800 calories per day and then choose to jog 2 miles (3.2 km) every day. The jogging would burn about 200 calories per day, and over the course of 18 days you would burn about 1 pound of body weight (18 days x 200 calories = 3,600 calories).

You could consume 2,500 calories per day and run 10 miles per day. You will burn 1,800 calories per day at rest and then 1,000 calories per day running, for a total of 2,800 calories. You are consuming 300 calories fewer than you need, so you would lose a pound every 12 days or so (300 calories x 12 days = 3,600 calories).

As you can see from these examples, the only way to lose fat is to consume fewer calories per day than your body needs. For every 3,500 calories that your body takes from its fat reserves, you lose 1 pound (0.45 kg) of body fat. You can create the deficit either by monitoring and restricting your intake of calories, or by exercising, or both.

The idea behind most diets —everything from Weight Watchers to the grapefruit diet— is simply to help you somehow lower the number of calories that you consume each day. That’s all they do.

Many people ask if the use of elliptical trainers is a good way to burn calories.

One simple answer: Yes! Very much so.

Elliptical trainers are a great way to burn calories and are a fun workout at the same time. If you goal is to loose weight you do have to understand how a “calorie diet” works. To shed the unwanted weight you must burn more calories than you take in. Put simply, you must burn more calories than you eat. So if you decide to eat the slice of pizza be ready to do a ton of exercise to work that off.

Humans throughout the day will burn a certain amount of calories doing normal functions such as working at a job, walking around and doing housework. This has to be taken into account so you really do not have to workout to burn calories.

If you are physically active during the day you will not have to restrict your diet as much as someone who sits in an office chair all day.

How can an elliptical trainers use benefit someone watching calories?

The user of an elliptical trainer will help you burn a tremendous amount of calories. By burning more calories it will allow you to loose weight faster and eat a little bit more since you have worked off some calories already.

One mistake many people make is they burn off 500 calories working out then they over eat and take in 700. This isn’t really helping you as you are 200 calories higher than prior to working out. Doing something like burning off 500 calories and eating 400 calories is “better” as it allows you to still have 100 calories less that what you took in.

The more you understand about any subject, the more interesting it becomes. As you read this article you’ll find that the subject of Negative Calories is certainly no exception.

When your calorie intake is more than your calorie expenditure, you gain weight. But if this is reversed, then it results in “negative calorie” balance in your body. In this situation, you expend more calories than you take in, resulting in a decrease in the stored calories in the form of body fat, and you experience a weight loss. About 10% of daily caloric intake is used to process foods in the body. You can expend more by doing pretty much any physical activities especially exercise like walking, jogging etc.

The information about Negative Calories presented here will do one of two things: either it will reinforce what you know about Negative Calories or it will teach you something new. Both are good outcomes. One of the best books about Negative Calories I have come across is The Negative Calorie Diet.
Negative Calories

There are certain foods that show negative calorie effect because the body has to expend more energy to extract calories from these foods. The negative calorie foods require more calories to break down the foods and digest them than the calories the foods actually contain. The extra calories are extracted from the stored fat in the body. Thus the negative calorie foods (may also be called fat burning foods) are ideal for reducing the body fat and for losing weight.

There’s no doubt that the topic of Negative Calories can be fascinating. If you still have unanswered questions about Negative Calories, you may find what you’re looking for in the next article.

In our daily routine we walk, exercise and do other physical activities but we don’t know that how much calories we burn and how much we need to balance it.

A normal human body requires about 2000-2500 calories a day but it requires more in exercise, other physical and mental activities. About 200 Calorie/hour will be consumed if we walk 2mph and running a mile will consume 145 calories if a person is of 100kg(220lb). A person can lose one pound weight by burning 3500 calories by exercise or by reducing calorie intake. It is interesting that we can burn more calories in sleeping than do watching TV but it does not mean that you can serve your sleeping time in front of TV. For proper physical activities we need proper sleep up to 8 hours(adults).

From 2000-2500 calories a day, we need carbohydrate diet up to 300g, protein diet up to 120g and fat diet up to 65g. Carbohydrate and protein contain 4 calories per gram however fat contain 9 calories per gram so we need 1200 calories from carbohydrate, 600 calories from fat and 500 calories from protein in a day. During exercise calorie intake will increase many times than normal.

We get calories from different sources like fruits, vegetables, fishes, meat and nuts etc. Fruits mostly contain major amount of carbohydrate with less amount of protein and fat. In fruits, banana of a medium size contain 100 calories, apple(100g) contain 52 calories, apricot(100g) contain 48 calories, dates one cup contain 490 calories, one large orange contain 86 calories. One large egg contain 78 calories. In fishes, tuna(100g) contain 185 calories, salmon(100g) contain 135 calories. Fishes contain large amount of fat and protein. A cup of milk contain 145 calories with 11g carbohydrate and 8g both protein and fat. Almonds(2.5oz) contain 410 calories, peanuts(2.5oz) contain 403 calories, walnut(2.5oz) contain 464 calories. Nuts contain a very good amount of carbohydrates, fats and proteins.

To spend a healthy life you should make a healthy dietary plan based on daily requirements and consumption of calories because healthy life requires balanced diet with energy consumption.

The remedy for positive weight loss is “negative foods”.Why??
You gain weight when your calorie intake is more than
your calorie outake. When the calorie equation
is reversed, it results in a “negative calorie”
balance in your body by utilizing more calories than you take in, resulting in a decrease of
body fat and weight loss. Only about 10%
of daily caloric intake is used to process foods in
the body. You can expend more by doing physical
activities.

For example-a piece of dessert consisting
of 300 calories may require only 150 calories to be
digested by our body, resulting in a net gain of 150
calories which is added to our body fat! But, if you eat 100 calories of a food that requires 150 calories to digest, then you have burnt an additional 50 calories simply by eating that food. These 50 calories are used up from the stored fat in your body!
The wonderful part about this is that these approximately 100 foods are all found in nature and you eat as much as you wish without counting calories.
You can eat your way slim and never go hungry with this safe, all natural approach to weight loss.

We can say the calorie is a unit of energy. We can’t just associate calories with food because everywhere there is some energy there is a calorie involved. Gasoline for example, like so many other things contains a lot of calories.

A calorie represents the heat needed to rise the temperature with 1 degree for 1 gram of water. We can see on every food pack the number of calories it contains. But the thing is the number you see on the package is in fact the value in kilocalories. 100 food calories represents 100.000 regular calories or 100 kilocalories.

The same principle is applied in sports. When somebody tells you , you’ve burned 100 calories that means 100 kilocalories.

A gram of carbohydrates contains 4 calories, a gram of fat 9 calories and a gram of protein contains 4 calories. Every food is based on these building blocks. It’s easy now to calculate based on the number of proteins, fat and carbohydrates the number of calories the food contains. So if we look on the back of any food aliment and see the number of food calories, we can say that amount is the kilocalories need it to burn it completely.

The human body burns the calories in different rates based on the metabolic process of every individual. The enzymes are the ones responsible to turning the fat intro fat acids and glycerol, the proteins into amino acids and the carbohydrates into glucose. These basic molecules are will be send into the bloodstream to your cells and they can be absorbed or they react with oxygen to release energy.
